Ferrara is City of Art par excellence. It was an important medieval centre and one of Italy's greatest Renaissance courts. The Este family was the dynasty that ruled the town for over 300 years. The splendour of the Este Court left indelible traces: the sumptuous Castello Estense (Este Castle), the Palazzo Schifanoia (Schifanoia Palace), the Renaissance area of the Addizione Erculea, the none-kilometre-long Walls. Other highlights are the 12th-century Cathedral and the old medieval centre with its dark medieval alleys. Ferrara is one of the most important artistic and cultural Italian centres thanks to the major art exhibitions in the Palazzo dei Diamanti and to music, dance and theatrical seasons of the Municipal Theatre. Ferrara, the Po Delta, and the Este's Delizie (country retreats) are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Ferrara is city of cyclists, silent and people-friendly. It is therefore an ideal location for rendezvous in a town rich of art and culture, history and nature, events and services.

FerraraExpo., BolognaFiere Group, is the Exhibition & Convention Centre of the town. The palace, designed by architect Vittorio Gregotti, extends over 16.000 m2 of covered area and includes 6 pavilions. On the ground-floor there is a new modular conference room from 300 to 1.000 seats, and on the first floor you can find 3 conference rooms of 70, 100 and 150 seats. The centre offers also different multi-functional spaces dedicated to business meetings, exhibitions, hospitality and catering (coffee-breaks, working lunches, gala dinners), relax, facilities.
